Mirror mirror, an interactive public art display in Virginia, pays homage to Alexandria’s historic Jones Point lighthouse. It is a 25 ft diameter, 8 ft tall open circle installation. It is programmed to be interactive, and responds to sound with light. As we investigate the different types of public art installations, I’m continually impressed by artists’ creativity and ability to use them to call attention to various issues.
