The logo for Spanish fashion retailer Zara was recently reimagined by French agency Baron and Baron. The new logo features a slightly different typography and most notably, much more overlap between letters. Many critics have complained that it feels “claustrophobic,” while others call it the “worst piece of type in years.” The new design has even inspired memes suggesting that if Zara follows the same trend, the next logo will have zero spacing in between letters, rendering it completely unreadable.
The new logo feels too cluttered!
