Slack’s logo design

Pentagram is a fantastic design consultancy with a rather lovely site (go Google them). There they have a curated collection of past work that’s very pleasing to look at.

Not too long ago, Slack released their rebranding – dropping a bunch of colors and bringing out these 90-degree chat bubbles as part of their visual brand. www.pentagram.com/work/slack

Dropping the translucency and overlaps leaves us with a visually cleaner logo, but some people have caught onto the outlines of a swastika in its negative space. Isn’t a big deal to me, but okay. People dramatize on social media all the time.
